After a long day of travel, we made it safely to San Jose, Costa Rica! After a quick bite to eat, it was time to sleep!
The next day we were off to La Fortuna and Mt. Arenal volcano! Jorge, our driver was a delight and knew all the best places for tasty pit stops.
Our resort, Tabacon, was gorgeous! Carter LOVED the watermelon juice we got during check-in...mom loved the cool, refreshing lemon-scented washcloth! We knew it was going to be a good vacation from the beginning!
After check in we took our first hike in the rainforest and visited the lava fields of Arenol. Zander was our tour guide and new favorite person in Costa Rica!!
Hanging Bridges was next! 16 bridges throughout the rainforest, with 10 high and long bridges with awesome views. Seeing spider monkeys, bats, birds, and more...this was a fun day!
Tabacon pools...heated by the volcano to 98.6 degrees. PERFECT!
The Tabacon hot springs rivers were amazing! All different tempatures from the volcano. Just delightful and so beautiful!! Hours spent here wondering the different "pools"!!
Zip Lining in the rain, but Rini and Bry had a great time!
