Both are home!!

Bryson comes home!
The last boy came home on Sunday, and yes we are just getting around to posting new pictures. As predicted there is lack of sleep and many feedings, but everyone is hanging in there. Mom and Dad just make sure to nap when the boys are out as well.
We took Carter to his second dr. appointment today, and Bryson his first, however it probably was not the best visit they will ever have. Snip, Snip... The minor procedure went well, they will just be a little sensitive for the next day or so.

They are also both gaining weight quickly and working to continually increase their feeds. Here are some new pictures; you can really see the differences between the boys. I swear we did not set them up to pose like this, but darn it is cute...

One Home, One to go

After 2 weeks in the NICU, Carter was able to come home last Thursday!! It has been great to have him home and we hope Bryson will be following soon in the next week or so. We visit Bryson everyday and he continues to get bigger and stronger. Carter is now 4 pounds, 12 ozs and Bryson 4 pounds, 9 ozs. We have had 4 nights with Carter at home so far....some of them good, some of them bad, but all of them long. Dad will be going back to work until Bryson comes home and the real fun starts of taking care of both of them on our own. Can't wait!

Nursery Pics

One week old

They boys turned one week old on Thursday and we sang a little song to them while feeding. Since all they really do is eat and sleep right now they are doing well, just trying to learn the suck swallow coordination. Still no news on exactly when they may be released to come home, but we are all excited and the house is ready.
